Dr. Bernstein, provides treatment services of children (ages 12 and up), adults, couples, and families seeking to make positive changes to strengthen themselves and their relationships, or those who need assistance to overcome or recover from adversity. He has over 30 years of experience treating disruptive negative interpersonal patterns, competency issues in children, individuation, and relationship difficulties.
Dr. Bernstein began his career as a mental health counselor in 1986 and graduated from the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at the University of Buffalo in 1989. He worked for nine years at a non-profit children’s psychiatric clinic before entering private practice.
