Bruce Pace, Ph.D. - Amherst & Orchard Park LocationDr. Pace works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. He has 20 years of experience and training in the treatment of: anxiety, depression, assessment, child behavior problems, anger management, substance abuse, trauma, and family relationship issues. He conducts evaluations of and treatments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Dr. Pace is a generalist in that he will work with most problems. His approach is Cognitive-Behavioral. He works to help individuals, families, and children to adjust their lives so they are more comfortable and in control of behaviors and emotions. Dr. Pace has found that active participation in setting goals and in tracking progress is important and part of the best way to change. Areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship problems, and parenting difficulties. 

Dr. Pace has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. He completed an internship and postdoctoral training at Monsignor Carr Institute in Buffalo.  He was the Program Director for three children’s clinics in Niagara County for five years.
