ERIN CORNELIUS, pH.d.

Dr. Cornelius is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Cornelius has training in the treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, relationship issues, and trauma.
Dr. Cornelius also has significant experience performing ADHD evaluations on school-age children and adults. In addition, Dr. Cornelius has an extensive research and practice background in assisting clients with developing coping skills to manage chronic and life threatening illnesses.

Prior to joining WNY Psychotherapy Services, Dr. Cornelius worked as an assessment coordinator and a clinician at a community mental health center, a therapist in a college counseling center, a group facilitator at a cancer support center, and a research coordinator at a leading cancer hospital. Dr. Cornelius has a master’s degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from University of Miami.

Online Teletherapy AppointmentsONLINE TELETHERAPY APPOINTMENTS:  Dr. Cornelius is now offering online teletherapy appointments for established patients with qualifying insurance. Dr. Cornelius is able to use a web-based platform to deliver real time face-to-face therapy for patients that may be unable to attend office sessions or who are out of town for extended periods of time (i.e. college students). In order to be eligible for this service, patients must complete an in-person intake appointment and Dr. Cornelius will determine if teletherapy is appropriate for the presenting concerns.
